Pink to make the boys wink, eh? To me, pink is more than just a girly girl shade. It’s more than just a way of showing your femininity. Pink, to me, is power.
Power suits. Power coats. Power dressing.
Pink is a way of putting your middle finger up at the world who say that girly girls wear pink. It’s a way to express yourself and play around with colours, textures and tones.
I have been blooming loving pink, which is something that I didn’t think I would ever hear myself say. As a girl who grew up being teased for her ‘girly girl’ clothing and for liking the colour pink because ‘its such a girls colour’.
Well screw that. Pink is no longer just a colour, it’s an attitude.
