What’s On My Christmas To Do List

It honestly blows my mind how quickly December has rolled around and how fast this month is flying by. It’s going to be quite a different festive period this year, isn’t it? But different doesn’t mean that we can’t celebrate the festivities, drink up all the magic and bask in the Christmas spirit.

So here’s what’s on my Christmas to do list.

Appreciation

One thing that I think 2020 has taught me is to really appreciate the little things. The things I would usually take for granted, the things that seems so mundane and so everyday. Like popping to my mums for a roast or sitting down for a meal with friends. Looking back on everything I have, all the experiences I have had the pleasure of experiencing and all the people in my life. This year really is a time for appreciation.

Support Independent Businesses

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again but if 2020 has taught me anything, it’s how important it is to shop small. Whether that’s hitting your local corner shop instead of Asda, buying baubles off Etsy instead of B&M or picking up the perfect Christmas gift from an independent store. Small businesses are vital to support this year – so before making that purchase, ask yourself, could I get this from an independent store?

Relax

Something I am really bad at, like really bad at, is relaxing. So this Christmas I have vowed to give myself a full two weeks off. TWO WEEKS BABY. I can’t wait to actually have some well deserved time off to spend with my family and do sweet, sweet nothin’.

I’d love to know what’s on your Christmas to do list.
