Seeing as though we’re spending so much time between our own 4 walls, I’m sure a lot of us have been making lots of small home updates to ensure that the space doesn’t only just reflect us, but is also working hard. I’ve been making some updates myself and have been loving playing around with the space to see what works best for us in this current time.
The Office
My office has been the space that has changed the most recently as I realised that I wasn’t using the space to it’s full potential and was wasting a lot of the space in there. I worked out that one of the reasons that I wasn’t using the space as an office is because it just felt too much like a dressing room in there. The shelves were overloaded with bags and shoes and my desk didn’t inspire me. I’ve since moved the shelves about a bit, relocated them and made my desk feel more like a work space than just a makeup station. I’m loving the changes I’ve made and it means it’s so much more of a working space now.
The Living Room
You know how obsessed I am with the living room, especially after changing some things about. I actually did some DIY work myself and am so happy with the result of it. I painted the legs of the coffee tables black to match the shelves and I love the finished look. It’s so much more monochromatic and pulled together. I’ve also had some new additions to the shelves to switch them up a bit, because who doesn’t love a fresh, new shelfie?
