If you know me, you’ll know that I LOVE boots in autumn/ winter. I don’t find myself reaching for things like trainers as much anymore – all I want to wear is boots. Flats for a casual walk, heels for a meeting – ankle length or knee high, I love them all.
But being a petite girl, it can sometimes be a little bit tricky to style them and get it right in autumn/ winter so I am here to help with the styling of boots this season!
Knee high boots shouldn’t hit your knee
Knee high boots should come just below the knee and shouldn’t hit into them. If they are, they’re just too long for your legs and need to go because it won’t look good and that’ll hurt after a while. Ensure your boots come just to the top of your calf and don’t actually hit into your knees as you walk.
Watch your lengths
Wearing knee high boots with a long skirt can be really chic if done right, but lengths hitting into each other is not a vibe. Ensure your skirt length is not clashing with your boot length and if it is, opt for an ankle boot instead!
Sock boots with elongate your legs
I love be a sock boot – whether that’s a heel or a flat. They will always help to make you look taller and elongate your legs with the flattering, tight silhouette.
