Now that winter is well and truly on it’s way (anyone else already whacking out the christmas songs?), it’s time to do everything we can to try and maintain a bit of warmth. My favourite, and most stylish way to stay cosy when the temperature drops is over the knee boots. That being said, OTK boots can be a bit hit or miss. I cannot tell you the many, many pairs which have disappointed- why are big thighs so difficult to cater for?
So I thought that I would put together my favourite OTK boots that are the perfect winter companion, this season.
The Classic Black Boots
You cannot go wrong with a pair of classic black boots! When it comes to choosing the boots, I look really closely at the way in which they stay up on your legs. I much prefer pairs with either an elastic top or tie in order to keep the boots up. I cannot tell you how annoying it is when you’re stopping every two seconds to pull them up!!
The Leather Look
I have been LOVING the leather look at the moment and am totally reflecting that in my boots! There are so many amazing pairs which look so killer paired with a jumper dress or even just a pair of jeans. The best thing about the leather look boots is that you can wear them even when it’s raining- win!
The 50 Shades of Grey
When it comes to over the knee boots, I love mixing up my style with colours. Grey boots are SO IN this season and look amazing for the winter time. There are so many different shades of grey to choose from, I am obsessed!
The Perfect Colour For Autumn
The only colour I have seen on my instagram at the moment is the deep brown trend. Everyone and their dog is obsessing over burnt oranges and brown tones at the moment. And rightly so- they are literally the perfect accessory for the autunm months.
The Classic Flat
And last but not least, the most wearable pair- the classic flat. I love me a bit of height but also I cannot wear heels on the daily. So of course you need a pair of flat boots in your wardrobe!
