Okay so the party season is officially upon us and let’s talk PARTY WEAR. For someone who basically spends their life as a hermit, it’s kinda ironic how excited I get about party wear. But we like what we like and ya girl has a soft spot for festive party wear. Give me all the sparkles, all the sequins, and all the glitter. I. Am. Here. For. It.
So seeing as I am THAT excited about all the lewks this year, I thought I would put together some of my fave pieces that I have been eyeing up this year.
Bring the Shimmer
Whether it’s a bit of glitter, a shimmer or a sparkle… now is the time of year to bring them all out. I adore going all out at Christmas and stocking my wardrobe with glittery pieces which I won’t go near for the other 11 months of the year.
Tartan’s the name
Okay so tartan is a trend which I have seen popping up from time to time and I feel like this year is the year it’s having it’s moment. I adore tartan skirts, tartan suits, tartan trousers. Give me it all.
Cosy Up
Just because it’s party wear doesn’t mean it can’t keep you snuggly warm. So many high street stores are bringing out some gorgeous, snuggly pieces which look killer for a party look.
Velvet Love
Of course, it won’t be Christmas without a bit of velvet in your wardrobe. It’s the trend that comes back every year and I don’t see it going anywhere this winter.
