I always find that Autumn can be quite a tricky time for workwear. It’s cold. It’s getting darker. You just want to throw on a chunky knit and a pair of trackies and be done with it.
I get it.
So that’s why ya girl’s here with an updated work edit for the autumn months. I’m going to be looking at THE TRENDS of the autumn and how you can incorporate that into your work wardrobe, while still being comfy, cosy and, of course, CUTE.
Send Them Nudes
It just can’t be denied that nudes are the colour palette of the season. Every autumn, the nudes and the neutrals come back in full force. I find nudes so easy to style for a more formal/ work wear looks as they just look so chic and classy. Styling neutrals with neutrals makes any office outfit so much more on trend, while still remaining professional.
Boots, boots, boots
The shoe trend OF THE SEASON if course boots. I’ve been really loving seeing sooo many new and gorgeous styles coming on the highstreet this year. This brown detailed pair are a new obsession of mine and I cannot get enough of them! Here’s some other styles I’m loving.
Give it texture
I love mixing textures, materials and styles within my outfits. I find that pairing something a bit less formal such as a chunky knit with a pair of more formal trousers and cute boots makes it look so much more work-wear. It also just adds a bit more interest to the outfit.
