Now that spring has officially sprung I have been updating my wardrobe to reflect just that. I LOVE the changing seasons and having a really good refresh of my wardrobe. I feel like there’s just something so exciting, so therapeutic and so energising to refreshing your wardrobe for a new season.
And there’s no new season quite as exciting as spring.
Adding pops of colour
You guys know that I am not much of a colour girl. I’m a neutral lover through and through. Give me all the whites, the beiges, the blacks and the browns and I’m a happy girl. But this spring I have really embraced adding pops of colour into my wardrobe to bring my outfit into a seasonal spring look. I love little pops of blue, pink or sage to an outfit and seeing how much it can transform a look.
Comfort is King
One thing that this past year has taught us is that comfort is king. Long gone are the skinny jeans, the uncomfortable dresses and itchy fabrics. In are the loose fitting, feel-good-feeling pieces that keep us as comfortable as they do stylish.
Skater skirts, skater skirts, skater skirts
If there’s one trend I am a fan of it’s the skater skirt trend. I feel like they’re such an easy piece to style, always look so effortlessly chic and are very on trend this year. Whether it’s a white tennis skirt, a black school girl-style skirt or a check number. I’m adding them all into my wardrobe
Embrace the Dad Sandals
A trend that I have well and truly embraced this year is the dad sandal trend. Give me all the ugly shoes. I actually adore how the dad sandal trend looks as well as how comfy and practical they are. If you see me walking around London looking so cool, chic and without blisters then you’l know why!
