I absolutely adore spring styling – I think transitional seasons are always the seasons you get to have the most fun with your style. But as well as being able to experiment with your look, there are always a few key items to have in your wardrobe that make up the basis of your spring looks. So I thought I would share some of the spring wardrobe essentials that I think every girl needs.
Skater Skirt
One of the biggest trend – turned – classic items in my wardrobe is a skater skirt. I have actually lost count of how many I own at this point. I have black ones, white ones, patterned ones, plain ones…. the list goes on. I feel like a skater skirt is such an easy styling item and such a great item to bring you into the warmer months. Wear with tights and a jumper on the chillier days, swap out for a cute top and bare legs when the sun is shining. Absolute classic.
Tennis Shoes
Another wardrobe staple that went from a trend to a classic piece. I feel like tennis shoes just scream spring. Little white trainers that go with absolutely everything in your wardrobe. They are so easy to style, so simple to slip on and so classic. In particular, Veja trainers have become a serious wardrobe must have – if you’re looking to grab yourself a new pair from the new line, I have a 15% off discount code to use at All Sole – shop HERE

A White Shirt
You can’t have a spring wardrobe without at least a dozen white shirts in it. I am such a huge fan of a white shirt and just how classic it is as an item. They really do elevate an outfit and make you look so pulled together, when in reality you just pulled it out of the wardrobe!
Trench Coat
And finally, the item you can’t live without in your wardrobe – the trench coat. Whether you have invested a lot of cash into a designer, staple or picked one up from the highstreet, this classic item has really become the epitome of spring styling. Especially here in the Uk where you just don’t know WHAT the weather is doing – it’s the perfect coat for Spring weather.
