If you had told me two years ago that my shopping habits would consists very heavily of puffer coats, cosy socks and practical pieces, I would have laughed in your face. OH how the tables have turned (or how covid has turned those tables).
But alas, this winter is all about the practical pieces. Seeing as though the only reason that I am truly leaving the house is to go for a walk or get my daily exercise, it’s been so essential that my purchases have been more thought through and more tailored to my current life.
So I thought I would put together some of the most essential practical items that are vital to have in your wardrobe right now.
Loungewear
I don’t think any of us ever expected to have SO MANY loungewear pieces in our wardrobe and I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s wardrobe is being taken over my comfy clothes. I personally have LOVED the surge of loungewear throughout all these lockdowns and love how they make me feel so much more put together, while still being so comfy and cosy.
Puffer Jackets
Ohhh how I love the puffer jacket trend. It’s one that, again, has SURGED over the last year and it’s such a great one to invest in. Long walks require cosy coats. And a puffer jacket is such a gorgeous and practical coat to invest in right now.
Cosy Socks
Need I say more? I really have realised this winter that I did not have a sufficient sock wardrobe. This has been rectified, don’t you worry.
