It’s that time of year again- the time of year when the internet goes NUTS over sales, bargains and deals on the busiest shopping event of the year- that’s right, Black Friday is just around the corner. Seeing as it can be such a hectic and overwhelming time, I thought that I would share my best tips to make the sale shopping a little easier, smarter and more enjoyable.
Plan Ahead
When it comes to Black Friday, there is such a rush to nab the best deals that often, you can get lost in the mix. Prepare a list of things that you are after, whether that is your first designer handbag, a chunky knit, your brother’s christmas gift…. that way, on Friday morning, you know exactly what it is that you are after!
Set yourself a budget
It can be all too easy to just hit that buy button on Friday on each and every sale item you see, but resist the urge you go into red and set yourself a budget so that you know exactly what you can afford.
Utilise your favourite influencers
Influencers are ALL OVER the Black Friday sales, myself included. We spend HOURS online finding the best deals and favourite pieces to help you out in your shopping. So much of us will even get deals before they are publicly released, so you might find out about sales from influencers before you even hear about them from the store! Shop online
I NEVER understand the people who choose to go into store on a sale day- I would much rather sit in my PJs with a coffee in hand, scrolling through online stores. I find that it is so much easier to compare prices online, not to mention saving the back ache from carrying all those bags!
Clear your cookies
The internet has soooooooo much information stored on us, so when it comes to Black Friday, best top tip would be to clear your cookies. I am not sure if it is the case for every single store, but a lot of websites will save your cookies and base the price of the item on your history- meaning that it can cost more than it should. So save your pennies and clear your cookies.
