One of my favourite trends this spring is the military trend. As a girl who has always been a fan of teaming a pretty, girly outfit with a clunky, ugly item, this trend just SPEAKS to me. I adore the boyish cuts, rough edges and casual vibe.
And especially in this rubbish, transitional British weather- when you are bored to death of chunky knits but need those layers to stop your nipples from turning blue and falling off. Layering up in a military style is what you need this season.
Military jackets
I am LOVING all the military jackets this season and how easy they are to style. Simply pop them over a pair of jeans and whatever footwear you want and you look so well dressed. For extra warmth, utilise the belt tie and you are WINNING AT LIFE.
There are so many other ways to add in that military trend and give yourself a rough edge to any outfit. Just changing a pair of jeans to khaki trousers, or trainers to boots changes up an outfit SO MUCH and is a great way to give a little nod towards the trend.
