Now that we’ve entered the Autumnal months here in the UK, that means one harsh reality – rain is inevitable. Us Brits know all too well the likeliness of the chance of rain, where not a day goes by where we don’t just chuck an umbrella in our bags ‘just in case, you know?’
So I thought it would be really fitting to create a blogpost all about those Autumnal rainy days and how you can moderate your outfit to not only keep you dry, warm and comfortable, but also looking super chic.
A Trench Is Vital
I’ve spoken about trench coats time and time again but I can emphasise enough how important they are when it comes to rainy days. I adore how chic and pulled together a trench coat looks while also keeping you dry and warm. Of course, a Burberry is the best trench to ever invest in, but there are some great options on the high street too!
A Cap Keeps Your Hair Dry
I don’t know about you but my hair increases in volume by about 10 times when I’m caught out in the rain. So a baseball cap is my absolute hero when it starts to a pour down. Not only does it hide the greasy hair (two birds), but it also keeps the rain at bay and is a super chic way of avoiding the wet look.
Trainers are a must
When it comes to rainy days, I think comfort is always key and it doesn’t get much comfier than a pair of trainers. My personal faves are my Balenciagas of course.
Layer, Layer, Layer
Rainy days usually bring some chilly weather and I always love to layer up to keep things looking streamlined and chic while still keeping me nice and super warm.
