Now that spring has officially begun, there is no better way to welcome in the season than to give your home a good refresh, Whether that’s a full spring clean or just a few small tweaks in order to embrace the changing weather and help our home to reflect our surroundings. I always find it so therapeutic and a great way to connect personally with the season.
So I thought I would share my favourite ways to help to give your home that spring refresh and welcome in the changing season.
Have a Spring Clean
Giving your home a really good and deep clean really helps to give you a new lease of life and new sense of direction for spring. Move your furniture, lift up your sofa cushions and get into every nook and crack you can. You’ll be so surprised where dust can get to.
Switch Up Your Wardrobe
If you’re anything like me, you’ll have a completely different summer to winter wardrobe and keep the alternate season in storage. Go through your storage boxes, bring out last seasons pieces and swap your heavy winter items out.
Change Your Foliage
I love to keep flowers, foliage and fresh plants around my home and love to switch them up depending on the season. It really helps to reflect your surroundings and bring some of the outside, in.
