You may have noticed that I am a cottage core girl through and through. I just love the cottage core aesthetic and it’s a vibe that I love to adopt every year at the start of summer. As soon as May rolls around I am just so ready to bring out all of my cottage core dresses and live my best cottage core life. It’s an aesthetic that is so big every summer and one I can see continuing for so many years to come.
With the rising popularity of Bridgerton, the cottage core aesthetic is not going anywhere and seems to only be gaining in popularity (which reader, I am very happy about). So here’s how you can adopt the cottage core aesthetic.
Cottage Core Dresses
Of course your fashion is the biggest way to adopt it, with big dresses with puff sleeves, corset bodices and floaty skirts. Think House of CB, Reformation and all that good stuff. You can also shop the aesthetic on a budget too, so I’ll link some of my favourites here.
Hair
Your hair is a really simple way to adopt the trend and embrace the cottage core aesthetic. Claw clips, butterfly clips and hair bands are huge.
Picnics in the park
Oh but nothing says cottage core quite like a picnic in the park. Kitted out with strawberries, rose and ice cream.
