Loving the French style, will no longer attempt the French language…..
You may have noticed everywhere right now a particularly chic style which is taking over the gram lately. That’s right, it’s the Parisian style. The touches of the elegant city’s style dabbling into our fashion and making us look like chic French ladies who have just stepped off the set of the Devil Wears Prada (I wish).
I am completely besotted with the Parisian style for spring- did you like my big word- and cannot think of anything else that I want to wear when I want to look chic, elegant and like I have my bish together.
I think ‘laid back luxury’ is the term here, and a term I am all for.
Neutral tones
The key to adopting Parisian streetstyle like a true French girl is the focus on neutral tones. Beige, white, camel, black, brown, bisque- ugh it makes me tingle just thinking about all the neutral tones to style together.
Tapered Waist
The Parisian’s favourite shape is the tapered waist- I adore how gorgeous these high waist trousers look. I mean can we just at that belt buckle?!?! I am loving adopting a more tapered style with everything I own. I just love how feminine and chic it looks and actually makes me feel like a lady. Just need to learn how to close my legs and I’m halfway there.
Accessorising
The Parisians are THE QUEENS when it comes to accessorising any outfit. No outfit is complete without well thought-out accessories. Think layers of jewellery, rings, necklaces and bracelets. Mix up your metals and if you think you have enough, you probably don’t.
