My all time favourite thing about Autumn is the fashion – give me all the transitional styling and Autumnal looks. I feel like this season is the season to get really experimental with your looks. Mix old with new, classic with trendy and have a play around with new in fashion pieces. I love being able to experiment with what I have in my wardrobe and seeing what new in trends would work with what I’ve got, what would suit me and what’s maybe not my cup of tea. So here are some Autumnal trends that you can wear now.
The Green Trend
If there’s one colour that you cannot miss right now, it’s the green trend. It really came into it’s own this summer and has evolved so much into Autumn/ Winter fashion. Green bags, green coats, green shoes, green jumpers. And so many different shades – you’ve got forest green or sage green or kahki or army or neon. So many options. It really is a super wearable, fun and easy trend to jump on board!
The Tailoring Trend
One trend that comes back time and time again (and one that I am a personal fan of) is the tailoring trend. Power suits, boyfriend blazers and fitted trousers. The tailoring trend is such a fun one to get on board one and one I find is flattering on almost any figure. So whether you’re an all black kind gal or looking for something a bit more colourful, there will definitely be something on the market for you.
House Dressing
A bit knock on effect from Covid is how we view fashion and what we want to wear. House dressing saw a HUGE surge in 2020 and has evolved from joggers, to beautiful and comfortable outfits. From cosy coats that feel like dressing goals, boucle material running through EVERYTHING to more stretchy waist bands and soft materials. Who else is seriously here for the house dressing trend?
