I struggle to find good jeans. Always have done. As a girl with legs shorter than her patience, a bum bigger than New York and a waist that jeans just always hang off, it is virtually impossible. And I know I am not the only one who struggles.
Now I have done my rounds. I have been round almost every highstreet store trying to find a pair of jeans that are stylish (sorry mum but your Per Una jeans just don’t scream fashion week), and that don’t cost more than my rent. And… drum roll please… I have finally found my perfect match!! Matalan has been a shop that I always pop into for homewear but didn’t even consider looking to for jeans. But MY GOODNESS HAVE I BEEN MISSING OUT!!
I have recently checked out their denim collection and I just couldn’t believe the wide range of jeans they held! Everything from bootcut to dungarees to any kind of rip you want. I am just obsessing over their skinny jean collection- as someone who has never been able to buy cute skinnies I am going a bit OOTD with the variety I am now offered! With these pairs, I thought that I would show you how I am styling them with each and every outfit!
The Lunch Date
When it comes to jeans, I have never been able to be adventurous with the style. But these tie hem jeans are honestly the cutest thing I have ever seen! I just adore the tie detail on them and think they can make any basic outfit look so much more stylish. The best part is how comfy and stretchy these are, like you could eat a 5 course meal and they have got you girl!
I cannot wait to pull these out more over Spring!
The Lazy Sunday
I have never been a jeans wearer to relax until now. My goodness these are comfy! These are the ALICE jeans and are just so easy to wear. I adore the little rip detailing- adding that touch of trend to a pair of such classic blue jeans! Again these are very stretchy and very easy to hide that food baby (no shame).
The Casual Friday
When it comes to casual Fridays, choosing a cute pair can be tricky. I am so obsessed with this light blue wash! These skinny jeans are so gorgeous and so perfect to style with a cosy jumper and pair of sneakers for a casual Friday look.
