One thing that I bloody love about being British is everyone’s excitement for a bit of sun. As soon as a bit of sun peaks it’s head out of the clouds we flock to beer gardens, switch to iced lattes and whip out the BBQ’s in order to soak up every bit of that 17 degree weather.
With the early onsets of spring bracing ourselves with her sultry stare, I have been eyeing up all the gorgeous spring outfits and ways that I can embrace the new season this S/S19, I mean I know I am still in overdraft but that isn’t going to stop me, is it?
The wooden trend
I am LOVING the trend for natural, earthy materials to complete every spring outfit. I feel like it epitomises spring, nature and everything that comes with this new season. The wooden trend is such a welcome one for me because despite how unpractical the items are, they are blaady cute. FASHUN.
So whether it’s jewellery, bags, accessories or hair clips, I am HERE for the wooden trend. Here are a few of my favourite pieces from the trend that I am loving.
White everything
You KNOW my obsession with an all white outfit, and the irony of me being the clumsiest person on earth but hey ho, I like playing with fire. The white trend is going no where this spring and there are so many gorgeous pieces out there for you to add to any look to give it a really spring feel.
All the blazers
Blazers are HUGE this season and something that, 2 years ago, I would have laughed if you told me I would be a part of. But here we are. I am loving the many gorgeous blazers that are on the highstreet right now and am very fond of a boxy fit blazer. I feel like they are the perfect ‘throw over’ to add to your outfit in order to keep you warm in the 15 degree British weather, but not sweat your tits off when travelling on the stuffy tube. Tow birds, one stone.
